copywriting rates

For most copywriting projects I charge $75 per hour and I will always give you a firm estimate going in just how many hours I think the project will take. And if it's beginning to look like it will take longer, I won't proceed without your approval. There will be no surprises. Most times it takes me less than what I originally estimate. That's because I get a good feel for what you're trying to accomplish and I get it right the first time.

As your copywriter, I can work on your project from scratch, punch up a rough draft you've already done, or revise and update existing material. Working from scratch is obviously more time-consuming (and more expensive).

My terms are 50% upfront and 50% upon completion of the project. I take all major forms of credit cards or your personal or company check.

For larger projects, I'll give you the first hour for free. That way you can get a good idea of my work and decide whether you want to contract with me for the rest of it. I can't make it any more risk-free than that.
