copywriting rates

For most copywriting projects I charge $65 per hour and I will always give you a firm estimate going in just how many hours I think the project will take. And if it's beginning to look like it will take longer, I won't proceed without your approval. There will be no surprises. Most times it takes me less than what I originally estimate. That's because I get a good feel for what you're trying to accomplish and I get it right the first time.

As your copywriter, I can work on your project from scratch, punch up a rough draft you've already done, or revise and update existing material. For us writers, working from scratch is obviously more time-consuming (and more expensive).

My terms as a freelance writer are 50% upfront and 50% upon completion of the project. I take all major forms of credit cards or your personal or company check.

For larger freelance writing projects, I'll give you the first hour for free. That way you can get a good idea of my work and decide whether you want to contract with me for the rest of it. I can't make it any more risk-free than that.
